20th European Meeting and Exchange Program of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, May, 3th - May, 8th, Antwerp 2010

ENTOG, European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Dear ENTOG friends,
Only a little over 6 weeks until our annual exchange programme starts.
We here in Antwerp are ready for you! Also, of course, after the exchange there will be the annual ENTOG council and session, with the socials as well.
This is what we have planned for you so far:
- 58 places are now available for the exchange. In principle, this is two places per country. However, if some countries do not fill their two places in time, it then becomes possible for other countries to send an extra trainee for the exchange. The exchange will take place between Sunday evening May 2nd and Thursday afternoon May 6th. The participants will be places by twos in a Belgian hospital. This could be either in the Dutch speaking or the French speaking part. It is our intention to accommodate them at the Belgian trainees’ houses as much as possible, but some may have to sleep in the hospital dormitories or, by exception, in a hotel. During the days the participants will follow the local trainees on the job to find out as much as possible about training in Belgium. In the evening there will be a social programme, organised by the local trainees.
- On Thursday evening, after gathering at the ENTOG COUNCIL, there will be drinks and some snacks at the EBCOG location, with a short presentation from one of our biggest sponsors. Afterwards, those who are interested can go and explore Antwerp by night! For those trainees who have indicated such, hotelrooms have been booked. You will have to share, they are twin rooms.
- On Friday evening, after the ENTOG SESSION, starting at 8 PM there will be a walking dinner with buffet at the Ark, on the river Schelde. After dinner there will be a band, and, hopefully, some dancing! After this some more exploring of Antwerp nightlife is in order.
Friends and collegues, I hope to be seeing as many of you as possible in Antwerp in May. We are known here for our food, drink and hospitality and are waiting to show you this is justified!
Sincerely,
Martine Hollander
President of the LOC
